This is the image I woke up to. I have to say it put me in some kind of mood this morning. Whether you love the President or hate him, whether you agree with him or not, there is still a certain amount of respect you offer him just because he is who he is. I have never seen another president blatantly disrespected in this manner…but I digress. I don’t know how it works in Arizona but here that gesture is the equivalent of throwing the first punch in a fight. I commend the President on his self control and composure in this situation because I know it was not easy. As the President he cannot say certain things or react the way he may want to. So I will say it for him: He holds the highest position in the United States and he deserves the utmost respect. Behavior towards him such as depicted in the aforementioned photo is deplorable and ultimately inexcusable. Act like you have good sense and behave in a way worthy of the office you hold.
